It is not often you get photographed whilst doing what you love the most at work! I ran a workshop on perinatal loneliness at the excellent Thrive At Five conference in January that launched their work in Redcar, Cleveland and Middlesborough.
Loneliness among parents of children under 5 has been identified as a huge issue locally. They invited me to talk about my research and then I led a mini-zine making activity to provide space for reflecting on local issues. Thanks for having me, and I look forward to hearing about what happens next.
If you want to hear more about my research, I am always up talking at events or to your team. Making sure my research participants’ voices are heard is by far the best part of my job.
